One for re-making the classics! (Ain’t no sunshine)

I was listening to Bill Withers’ original version of “Ain’t no sunshine” and came across many other nicely done renditions. It is indeed a huge task to match the beauty of the original composition but I really liked a few versions so thought I should share them here.

First one is by Joe Cocker. Listen & enjoy!

Another great version is the one done by Shaun Smith during “Britain’s got talent” auditions. What a voice!

And yet another neat version.

Dedicated to Sandy Denny…Nothing More ~ Fotheringay

So let me begin with this beautiful song ~ ‘Nothing More’ by Fotheringay.

The most interesting aspect about this song has to be the vocalist – Sandy Denny. What a voice!

The world lost her at a very tender age of 31. Her death was caused by an accident and that’s definitely a great loss for the world of music.

Nevertheless, her music lives forever…
